• Seoul Red

Seoul red is my hera lipstick name. 💄👄 Lights digest me quite differently depending on where i am. This color looks only ookkaayy on me when i am in Seoul. But also such a corporated compromised color it is.

The fact that i had to say no, -and is not necessarily what made me stronger- it’s maybe not exactly what i wanted the most, but somehow it was the only way. I am weak, so i can touch my nightmares. I am always okay.

Lloonngg time ago, the summer of my first studio at school was full of mensa glass reflections. It was so intense, also a little bit unsettling because it was not a very bio light. It made blond white boys’ eyes and faces frown, frustrated people went somewhere higher than the stone floor. Our iphones couldn’t take it well either. Only people like me, who were pathetically sentimental enough, were romanticizing it in their own way. And never said how that really felt, it was also not important at all of course. Just a fleeding moody idea of lights: and here still i don’t say how it really felt.

I don’t know if lights fall on all of us. But everyone reflects somehow. And You shine like ……
Not like a rihanna diamond. Not like every so well glazed bakery shine or korean beauty glass skin shine (which is eventually and actually boring). No scary hospital pale on the table beby i’m opening you up lightening. Also not exactly like the overly beautiful and therefore a bit sad silverline in the dark, because i don’t want to feel too stupid. But yes, you shine the way i almost never seen. Just so easy to linger in my eyes and ears and brain and heart.
